I think that Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in the first degree of Aquarius represents the beginning of a new era. I believe astrology will have a good future. What is your picture of astrology in the future?
It was a kind of affirmation for me to overcome the difficulties I had once in my life. Sometime I would draw the symbol of Sun-Jupiter trine on my worksheets. For example, in my chart Mercury-Sun conjunction is in trine with Jupiter. Additionally, although I think hard aspects are motivating and necessary, trine is my favorite. Is there a planet, sign, or aspect you’ve been exploring lately that represents an archetype or energy that feels important to you right now?ĭue to my interest in Hermes Trismegistus, I am attracted to Mercury. We are working on the translation of a 550 pages work of Sadullah Efendi, an Ottoman astrologer from the 19 th century and we discover many interesting information. We also study Ottoman Astrology and Sufism and Astrology. I also teach my students modern techniques like Mid Points and Harmonics in addition to tradition techniques. For example, Glenn Perry teaches Astro Psychology and Aleksandar Imsiragic teaches Hermetic Astrology online. So, I teach all techniques to the students in my school and I also invite other lecturers. What I am trying to do is to blend the traditional astrology with the modern astrology. In fact, I practice Classical, Medieval and Renaissance astrology techniques under the title of Traditional Astrology. After understanding my own chart and life purpose, I saw that I was here to practice astrology, to teach it and to write about it and I took my steps decisively to perform my life purpose. Telling and teaching people about it was what made astrology juicy for me. It is the power for reaching the most ideal through a making better choices and awareness, instead of going with the flow. However, to the extend we may make choices, we have the chance to realize our ideal destiny through these choices. We have a certain fate and we reach certain results when we do not make efforts to change it.

I believe in fate but I also know that we have free will. I have always been interested in questions like “Why are we here?”, “What is our purpose?” and “What are our given talents?” I enjoyed realizing fated impacts and wondered how the whole system works because I believed that everything in the divine system was perfect and nothing was a coincident. Why do you practice astrology? What makes it juicy for you? Although I tried to do my best to continue our family business, because of my growing interest in astrology I left trade business as of June 200, rent our place and took a step towards being involved in astrology fulltime.
My father wanted me to continue our family business while I wanted to study astronomy.
After my father’s death in 1997, I started to question life and to devote more time to astrology. During this time, I was working in trade business and there was no specific event in my life. Later, I found that paper that I wrote my notes on my natal chart. In 1996, I had my natal chart drawn by hand and tried to interpret it through the help of a book. I have been interested in astrology since my young ages.
